As New Faith continues to grow in membership, we realize that our population of youth is growing as well. In an effort to get young adults off the streets we have taken steps to provide them with constructive alternatives to cruising the streets or just hanging out.

This year marked the third year that the New Faith Basketball team took to the court. However, there were two unexpected additions that occurred this season.  We were blessed to start a grade school team, along with New Faith's first-ever cheerleading team.  This season both the High School and Grade School teams were blessed to participate in the St. John's Annual Basketball League where the High School team finished with a record of 3-2 while losing in the second-round of the playoff.  The Grade School Team finished with a modest record of 1-4 (The one win resulted in a 35 - 15 victory).  Even though our teams did not win the tournament, the New Faith Cheerleading Squad was the highlight of the tournament. 

 In addition to participating the the tournament, we were able to establish new church relationships that our Youth and our church as a whole will definitely benefit from.
